New version of render plug-in comes with an IES light fixture library and frosted glass.
The newest version of Shaderlight for SketchUp Pro, version 2.1, has been launched and is available for download right now.
Shaderlight for SketchUp Pro has got the following improvements:
IES light fixture library featuring VISA Lighting
In line with Shaderlight’s simplicity ethos, you can now simply import a model from Shaderlight’s 3D Warehouse library into your SketchUp scene and hit render. Shaderlight will then render the correct lighting and colour shadow detail for each individual fixture.
Additionally, you can now embed IES light files into your own SketchUp models, making your own ‘ready to render’ lighting fixtures to use or share on Google’s 3D Warehouse or in your company.
Frosted Glass
Shaderlight 2.1 now contains frosted glass. If you use a semi-transparant material in SketchUp, you can choose from 5 sorts of frosted glass in the material editor.

Interior Renders Improved
The quality of interior renderings using portal lights has been improved.
Backups
Shaderlight now creates backups of your renders in case of any crashes.
This update completely free for all users of Shaderlight v2 and can be downloaded using the following links or by visiting our downloads area…
