Trimble SketchUp Pro 2019 [Annual] and V-Ray Next for SketchUp [Annual]. 3D modelling, drawing and rendering power bundle for Architects, Artists, Designers & Visualisers.
V-Ray Next for SketchUp features greatly improved workflow, making it easier and faster than ever to interact with your SketchUp scene, organise your assets, set up lighting, and render your best work. Smarter tech like 3D Scene Intelligence can now automatically analyse and optimise your renders for you, plus take advantage of many performance optimisations for both CPU and GPU rendering. What’s more, on average GPU rendering has been accelerated to be twice as fast as before.
V-Ray rendering technology is recognised by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. In 2017 V-Ray received a Sci-Tech Academy Award for its role in the widespread adoption of photorealistic ray tracing in feature film. V-Ray has been used on over 150 films, such as blockbusters Beauty and the Beast, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Thor: Ragnorok. The same core technology used to render these films is used to power V-Ray for SketchUp.
V-RAY ON TV: V-Ray is also used on hit television series such as Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Stranger Things.
V-RAY IN ARCHITECTURE: V-Ray is used by 92 of the top 100 architecture firms in the world.
V-Ray Next for SketchUp is immediately compatible with the new SketchUp 2019, as well as versions 2016-2018.
Power: V-Ray gives you the power to render anything and everything – from quick design models to your most detailed 3D scenes.
Creative Control: Focus on design, with a full suite of creative tools for lighting, shading and rendering.
Easy to use: Easy to learn, easy to use. V-Ray is designed to get you up and running in no time.
Render fast, design faster. V-Ray lets you spend more time being creative and less time waiting.
Quality: V-Ray lets you create the highest quality renders possible.
The Industry Standard: 92 of the top 100 architecture firms in the world render with V-Ray every day.
Viewport rendering: With new Viewport rendering, you can easily select and render multiple regions at once, and quickly blend between your V-Ray render and SketchUp model using +/- hotkeys to control opacity.
Powerful GPU rendering: Faster, more powerful GPU rendering with added support for aerial perspective, displacement, subsurface scattering, matte/shadows, and more.
Hybrid GPU+CPU rendering: V-Ray GPU running on NVIDIA CUDA can take full advantage of all available hardware, including CPUs and GPUs.
Adaptive Lights: For scenes with lots of lights, the new Adaptive Lights mode can help you cut render times by up to 700%.
Smart UI: The entire V-Ray for SketchUp interface is now cleaner and simpler, with better support for 4K monitors.
File manager: Manage all of your scene files in one place. Set file paths, create scene archives, and keep track of assets like textures, IES files, and proxy objects.
V-Ray Color picker: New colour picker that’s simple and powerful. Select colour values in Screen sRGB (0–255) or Rendering (0.0–1.0) colour space.
V-Ray Scene import: Import and render V-Ray scenes (.vrscene) from other applications such as 3ds Max, Rhino, and Revit
Sunlight studies: Create sunlight & shadow studies with SketchUp sun animation.
Fog: Give your scenes depth with new realistic 3D fog and light scattering effects.
New texture maps; Fine-tune the look of your scene with new gradient, colour temperature and procedural noise texture maps.
2D displacement: Quickly add surface detail without extra modelling with optimised 2D displacement — perfect for architectural materials like brick and stone.
Animated proxy objects: Easily add pre-animated 3D objects like walking people and trees blowing in the wind with animated V-Ray proxies.
Proxy previews: Control the look of V-Ray proxies in the SketchUp viewport. Select from Whole mesh, Bounding box, Point (Origin), and the new low poly Proxy preview mode.
Better viewport materials: Get a more accurate preview of your V-Ray materials in the SketchUp viewport.
Better denoising: The V-Ray Denoiser is now easier to set up and you can refine settings even after you render.

Make everything easier
SketchUp is useful from the earliest stages of design to the end of construction. Programming, diagramming, design development, detailing, documentation, RFIs—wherever you need drawings, you need SketchUp Pro.
Produce scaled, accurate drawings
SketchUp isn’t just for 3D models. Draw plans, elevations, details, title blocks and a lot more with LayOut. When your model changes, so does your document. Simple.
Generate presentation documents
With LayOut, you’re equipped for page design, drafting, vector illustration and slide presentations: everything you need to explain everything.
Create compelling walkthroughs
Use SketchUp Pro to turn your models into animated walkthroughs and flyovers that explain every detail.
No need for additional CAD or photo/drawing programs, just use LayOut!
SketchUp Pro 2019 supports the following operating systems:
- Windows 10 and Windows 8 [64-bit]
- macOS 10.14+ (Mojave), macOS 10.13+ (High Sierra) and macOS 10.12+ (Sierra).
